‘QiaoChu’ dates back to the poetry of the Zhou Dynasty (1055-771BC). ‘Qiao’ reflects the idea of uplifting your spirits, which the colour red will always do. ‘Chu’ means to have beautiful clarity, to see the world around you for what it is. This cashmere jumper features a peacock motif around the collar and cuffs. The peacock is the symbol of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). In Chinese culture, the peacock personifies beauty and divinity and power, ideals embodied by the SKYLENCE woman.
